  • Set up videoconference or teleconference to read as a group or one-on-one

  • Know how you want your actors to read the lines and direct them accordingly

  • It’s not necessary for memorization of lines but familiarity is important so that it doesn’t sound like reading

Recording

  • Google inexpensive equipment and ways to record a professional podcast

  • Rent or buy equipment (microphone(s), headphone(s), and mixer)

Engineering

  • DIY - Learn Garageband (or similar program)

  • Hire an Independent Engineer

  • Hire an Afros and Audio Engineer (submit an Audio Interchange File Format (with extensions of aif, aiff, AIF, or AIFF)

Upload Online

  • Submit mp3 file(s) to Afros and Audio

  • Upload mp3 file(s) to SoundCloud, iTunes (requires initial upload to a podcast publishing player, i.e. Podbean)

  • Upload an MOV, MP4 (MPEG4), AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MPEGPS, WebM file(s) to YouTube - requires iMovie [or similar program] of still photo(s) and audio file merge)
